This is *not* an uplifting year for news.... every time I read the paper, The Economist, or online articles, it's all so depressing. The world in an economic crisis, America headed for depression, houses unable to sell, swine flu spreading rapidly, earthquakes in So. Cal., and the terribly broken fiscal state of California as a whole. I hope things take a turn for the better *soon*!!
